Blue Honua gets its name by combining the English word "blue" which is often used to describe something which is eco friendly with the word "Honua" which comes from Hawaiian to mean "Earth". The photos here are taken around the world, with many of them coming from Hawaii. It is the mission of Blue Honua to show the world the beauty of nature through photography in order to encourage appreciation and conservation of nature.
